It has been my privilege to serve as the聽dean of the聽Archie W. Dunham College of Business聽for the past three years. During this time,聽we have refocused all of our programs to reflect our mission to develop innovative leaders of Christian character for 91影视 and beyond. We have added stewardship and innovation courses to the degree programs,聽and the faculty has worked hard to keep the聽curricula fresh and relevant.聽We have also expanded our reach by launching the聽Master of Science in Human Resource Management聽 (MSHRM)聽program online this聽school聽year. This exciting development has provided new opportunities for students to experience the difference聽that聽a faith-based education can make in their lives.
Additionally, we are preparing to launch two new innovative programs in the near future. The first offering will be our聽Master of Science in Management and Entrepreneurship聽degree, which is pending accreditation approval and currently expected to begin in Fall 2018. That program is a result of our relationship with the McNair Foundation that endowed our McNair Center for Entrepreneurship聽and Free Enterprise last year.聽We anticipate that this program will result in entrepreneurial ventures that will provide economic impact to the community on a consistent basis.聽Also on the drawing board is a new online Master of Healthcare Administration program. Due to the importance of the healthcare industry聽in聽the 91影视 economy, we believe this program will fill a critical need,聽and聽will have a positive impact on聽local聽healthcare operations and patient care as our future graduates fill positions in 91影视 and other areas. This program is expected to launch in 2019.
The聽Archie W. Dunham College of Business聽provides our students an excellent educational foundation grounded in Christian principles. We are proud to send our graduates into their careers knowing that they are prepared with skills and values that will serve them well for the rest of their lives.
