Steps for New International Students

Thank you for your interest in becoming an 91Ó°ÊÓ Husky! We have an active and diverse international student population on campus. The first step in the application process is to apply online.

Please see below for required supplemental items for international students applying to 91Ó°ÊÓ.

If you are a current high school student applying as a freshman international student to 91Ó°ÊÓ from outside the U.S., please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the .

  • High school transcripts from at least 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. We cannot accept regional test scores, such at WAEC. If our admissions department cannot evaluation the transcript directly, we will ask for a foreign transcript evaluation.
  • Proof of English proficiency: There are many ways to show your English proficiency, to include  or English as the language of instruction. Please review the English proficiency requirements for detailed information.
  • Copy of your passport (valid for 6 months in the future)
  • Financial documentation

If you are a current university/college student applying as a transfer international student to 91Ó°ÊÓ, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the .

If you are a current high school international student in the U.S. holding an F-1 student visa, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the .

  • High school transcript
  • Official SAT or ACT test scores are not required if applying as test optional
  • Copy of your passport, visa, I-94, I-20
  • Financial documentation

If you are a current university/college student in the U.S. applying as a transfer international F-1 student to 91Ó°ÊÓ, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the .

  • ALL college transcripts (any college courses taken outside the U.S. must have a foreign transcript evaluation)
  • Copy of your passport, visa, I-94, I-20
  • Financial documentation
  • Proof of English proficiency (2 semesters of English courses equivalent to Composition I & II from a regionally-accredited institution of higher education with a grade of C or better can be counted toward English proficiency)

If you are a current high school international student in the U.S. holding a valid visa other than F-1, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the .

  • Official high school transcript
  • Official SAT or ACT test scores are not required if applying as test optional
  • Copy of your passport, visa, I-94, and approval notice (I-797)

If you are a current university/college student in the U.S. applying as a transfer international student to 91Ó°ÊÓ and hold a valid visa other than F-1, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the .

  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Copy of your passport, visa, I-94, and approval notice (I-797)

If you are applying as a graduate international student to 91Ó°ÊÓ from outside the U.S., please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the 91Ó°ÊÓ graduate application.

If you are applying as a graduate student in the U.S. as an F-1 student, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the 91Ó°ÊÓ graduate application.

If you are applying as a graduate international student to 91Ó°ÊÓ and hold a valid visa other than F-1, please submit the following supplements for your application after completing the 91Ó°ÊÓ graduate application.

If you are a student who is undocumented in the U.S., you may apply to 91Ó°ÊÓ and then submit the following supplemental items:

  • Official high school transcript (freshmen) or official college transcript (transfer students)
  • Official SAT or ACT test scores are not required if applying as test optional
